My top 9 must-dos in Fantasyland every time I go to Disneyland Paris

  1. Look at the stain glass windows and Sleeping Beauty story
Go up the stairs on the left inside the castle; these ornate stain glass windows show the enchanted story of Sleeping Beauty.
    Three Fairy's from Sleeping Beauty
  2. Celebrate Christmas all year-round
It doesn’t need to be December 25th to celebrate Christmas. In the heart of the Disney castle sits La Boutique du Château where you can pick up Christmas baubles, fairy light necklaces and all your favourite Disney characters in festive attire.
  3. Take flight to Neverland
Sail away on a pirate ship over London to Neverland with Peter Pan. This is a dark ride with a difference, cute little sail boats carry you over the scenes depicted in the film. Watch out for the tiny cars as you head over London.
  4. Dumbo at day break
Dumbo the Flying Elephant is a very popular ride in Fantasyland where you can take control of Dumbo as you glide over the crowds. Head to this ride as the park opens and you’ll get the VIP treatment, as you’ll be the only one riding. Perfect for selfies with the castle in the background.
  5. Paint the roses red
Explore the twists and turns of the Alice’s Curious Labyrinth, meet the caterpillar and try not to get wet. Don’t get caught by the Queen of Hearts’ guards and make your way to the miniature castle, where you can enjoy views of the whole land.
  6. Get immersed in a miniature storybook fantasy
Les Pays des Contes de Fées is a colourful boat ride which takes you past miniature scenes from Disney animated films. I love the Beauty and the Beast scene, complete with working water wheel. The boats are named after Disney characters such as Mary Poppins and Cinderella, try to catch your favourite!
  7. Spot of tea?
Join the Mad Hatter and March Hare for a crazy tea party. Control how fast your cup spins, ideally making your friends sick, if you can face it!
  8. Sing along to it’s a small world
For one of the most annoying/catchy songs in Disneyland, head to It’s A Small World. This ride is a great place to shelter from the hot weather as the water and air conditioning will cool you down. It is a small price to pay for this song being in your head all day, but the final scene is very sparkly.
  9. Get a gelato
Fantasia Gelati, opposite It’s A Small World, serves up fresh gelato ice cream all year-round. Take a breather and relax, built like an enormous cuckoo clock, time is right to see what happens on the hour every hour.
